Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years old and capable of forming a binding contract to use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Each organization is a separate tenant with isolated data. Organization administrators are responsible for managing member access and permissions within their organization.

You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date. We may suspend or terminate accounts that use false or misleading information.

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law or regulation
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other organizations' data or any part of the Service's infrastructure
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service (except as permitted by law)
• Use the AI features to generate content that is illegal, harmful, deceptive, or that violates the usage policies of underlying LLM providers (Anthropic, OpenAI)
• Automate access to the Service in a way that exceeds reasonable use or circumvents rate limits
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without our written consent
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service

You own your content. Artifacts, documents, and other content you create within Cosmo remain your intellectual property. We do not claim ownership over your content.

You grant us a limited license to host, store, and transmit your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This includes sending content to third-party LLM providers (Anthropic, OpenAI) when you use AI features — but only the content necessary to fulfill your specific request.

We do not use your content to train AI models, for advertising, or for any purpose other than delivering the Service to you.

Cosmo connects to third-party services via MCP integrations. When you connect an integration:

• You authorize Cosmo to access data from those services on your behalf
• Your use of those services remains subject to their own terms of service and privacy policies
• We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or security of third-party services
• In desktop local mode, integration data flows directly between your device and the third-party service without passing through our servers

The Service includes AI features powered by third-party large language models. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or biased — you are responsible for reviewing and validating AI outputs before relying on them
• Prompts and context are sent to Anthropic and/or OpenAI for processing — see our Privacy Policy for details
• AI features are subject to the usage policies of the underlying providers
• We do not guarantee specific AI model availability — models may be updated, swapped, or deprecated

Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Payments are processed through Stripe (international) or Razorpay (India). Usage-based charges (e.g., AI token consumption beyond plan limits) are billed in arrears.

You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.

We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to provide advance notice of planned maintenance.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cosmo and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Techdome LLC from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, engage in activity that risks harm to other users or our infrastructure, or fail to pay applicable fees. Upon termination:

• You will have 30 days to export your data before it is deleted
• We will delete your stored content within 30 days of the data export period, except as required by law
• Integration credentials will be revoked immediately

You may terminate your account at any time through account settings.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

We may modify these Terms from time to time. We will provide at least 14 days' notice of material changes via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with the changes, you may terminate your account before they take effect.
